Founded in 1996 by Michael and Elizabeth Cavanaugh, The Kansas City Gardener magazine has been offering information and ideas that readers trust for successful gardening. Firmly entrenched in the gardening community, it is recognized by many as this region's first gardening publication of choice. We get closer to the gardener. Patti Davis, a Leavenworth County Master Gardener, will facilitate a video (with handouts) that will explain what you can do, even in a small backyard, to help save the Monarch Butterflies.
The video is made by Sarah Zukoff, entomologist and Anthony Zukoff, research assistant at Southwest Research and Extension Center from K-State.
The meeting is free and open to the public.

Meets at noon the second Wednesday each month.
Reservations required as we have a variety of eating arrangements - brown bag, potluck and served.
Meets at 10:30am the fourth Tuesday of the month, except for May (a members only garden tour), July, August, and December.
If Johnson County Catholic Schools are closed due to weather, the club does not meet.
Meets at 7pm the second Tuesday of the month.
