I grew up in a small rural town in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
In 1992, I received a BS in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin.
From there I moved to Crested Butte following my dreams of becoming a ski bum.
I started working for Rocky Mountain Trees in the summer of 1990, and after graduation, I moved to Crested Butte permanently.
In 1996 my wife Nel and I became owners of the company and have run it ever since.

Rocky Mountain Trees and Landscaping, Inc. has been serving the Gunnison Valley since 1984.
