KL Designs

KL Designs has been delivering professional landscape design and consultation services for decades, combining expertise in sustainable practices with a passion for transforming outdoor spaces. Founded in 2009, our team specializes in water-wise gardens, edible gardens, and low-water lawn conversions tailored to the unique needs of the San Jose South Bay area. With degrees in Landscape Architecture and Visual Arts, our lead designer brings decades of hands-on experience, including recognition through awards such as Best in Houzz (2013-2024) and a Gold Medal at the SF Flower and Garden Show (2011). We prioritize client collaboration, starting with a complimentary Zoom consultation to understand your vision and goals. Our process includes detailed site assessments, CAD-based design plans, and comprehensive plant lists to ensure your landscape meets both aesthetic and functional needs.

We specialize in Santa Clara Water District Lawn Conversion rebate programs, offering guidance to maximize savings and sustainability. Our services cater to small spaces, courtyard revitalization, and large-scale master plans, with flexible options for DIY enthusiasts and professional contractors alike. We maintain open communication throughout every project, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction. Our commitment to sustainable design extends to educational resources, including an Amazon-published e-book, 'Design Your Dreamscape,' empowering homeowners to create beautiful, low-maintenance outdoor spaces. With a focus on local climate conditions and water conservation, KL Designs helps clients create landscapes that are both environmentally responsible and uniquely personal.
