The two businesses ran side by side until 1955 when the coal closed.
Brother Dan entered the business in 1956.
All was rosy in the garden center and in 1972 the brothers expanded the business to include lawn service.
Ten years later the landscape division is expanded as well.
In 1977, grandchildren Dan, Mark and Katie entered the family business, and opened satellite locations in Dallas/Fort Worth (1983) and Detroit (1986).
The new century saw the family and the business continue to grow-a new garden center was built in 2006.

Our office staff or service technicians can readily answer most questions concerning your lawn.
Service managers are available to answer any specific questions.

No, Diamond Lawn will continue to service your lawn application to application and year to year until we are notified to stop.
It is your responsibility to notify us to stop the service.
After service is provided how will I be invoiced?
Our technicians will leave the invoice along with instructions at you door after each application, unless you have requested that your invoice be mailed.

It costs more but the slow-release fertilizers provide a long-lasting response and are safer for the turf.
It also allows us to customize our programs based on weather conditions and your lawn needs.

Yes.
White grubs can be very destructive and can damage your lawn quickly.
Eliminating grubs also helps prevent damage from animals such as opossums, skunks, and raccoons which can ruin a lawn digging for grubs.
