Mike Runyan is a native Floridian, born and raised in Tallahassee.
He is a graduate of Leon High School and FSU.While attending FSU, majoring in Business and computers, Mike needed an income to support his lifestyle and studies.
To make ends meet, Mike did small landscaping jobs on the side.
This was the beginning and founding of Big Bend Landscaping Inc.
After graduation, Mike found that his small side business had grown and had become profitable while he had attended classes.
Having started the company in 1990, he had gone from student to legitimate entrepreneur, was enjoying his new endeavor and was very good at it.
