Mercury Builders

Mercury Builders brings together professional remodeling expertise, thoughtful design, and individualized service to help San Diego homeowners transform their properties. We operate as a design-build remodeling firm, guiding clients through their renovation projects with an emphasis on reliability and exceptional results. The company originated from founder Tal Sharf's determination to improve the traditional contractor-client relationship. After years of observing communication failures, scheduling problems, and unsatisfactory construction practices while working for major contractors, he envisioned a remodeling business that would place homeowners first. That vision continues to shape our operations today. Through numerous successful renovations, we have developed lasting customer relationships and established ourselves as a trusted name in the local remodeling industry.

Our approach combines careful attention to each client's expectations with uncompromising standards for materials and workmanship. We recognize the importance of completing projects according to established schedules while maintaining the quality homeowners deserve. From developing the design to conducting the final walkthrough, our team pursues excellence in every aspect of the renovation. Professional licensing and safety compliance remain essential responsibilities within our operations. We hold California Contractor License #1093000 and OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification, complemented by our BBB A+ rating. Above all, our goal is to deliver a remodeling experience defined by clear communication, dependable service, and results that reflect each homeowner's original vision.
